SubZero - Virtual Data Center (VDC)

Fully-detailed, multi-scale, 3D model of the data center

SubZero Engineering employ’s state of the art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to create a model of the data center. Every last detail from the facility down to the computer equipment is impute into the program.

VDC accurately represents the power, space and cooling behavior of equipment

Accurate power consumption from each piece of equipment back through the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is modeled. Included is the individual fan characteristics of the equipment.

VDC becomes the platform for ongoing thermal management of the data center. SubZero VDC provides the “foresight” and “insight” as to the three key areas of data center operations : Power, cooling, equipment.

An accurate virtual facility opens important communications with the various parties to data center operations: Manufacturers, Designers, IT, Owner/operators.
